题记:上昆近年来新创剧目中有好几支曲子深受青年观众喜爱:《班昭》里的【正宫·梁归燕】“白发萧萧出宫门……”深沉凄美;《邯郸梦》开场曲【渔家傲】“乌兔天边才打照……”、结尾曲【浪淘沙】“你是个痴人……”抒情点题;《长生殿》开场曲【传概】“唐明皇欢好霓裳宴……”通俗明快,这些全是顾兆琳老师谱的曲。由他担任唱腔设计的《邯郸梦》和“精华版”《长生殿》连续获得了第12、13届“文华奖音乐创作(作曲)奖”。虽说他是昆曲音乐家,但其实最初他就是以“昆大班”演员身份被招进上海市戏曲学校的,因此戏也演得非常棒。近年来他在《狮吼记·跪池》里饰演的苏东坡,既有诙谐的大男子主义,但又不失大学士的风范;《寻亲记》里的周羽,不仅唱念讲究,连台步也是那么潇洒。他演戏,至今还保留查资料、写演员手记的习惯……
