在全球金融危机的大背景下,如何正视我国高等教育事业发展面临的挑战和机遇、推进高等教育改革进程、适应社会经济发展的需求,成为人们日益关注的社会热点。在同济大学召开的第三届民盟上海高教论坛上,沪上高校的40余位盟内专家就“金融危机下高等教育的挑战与机遇”开展讨论,寻求对策。他们针对金融危机下高等教育所暴露的问题,进行了深层次的探讨与反思,并从政府、高校、社会等多个环节寻求解决之道,提出了各自的意见和建议。现将部分发言摘编如下。
Under the background of the global financial crisis, how to face the challenges and opportunities that the development of higher education in our country faces, promote the process of higher education reform, and meet the needs of social and economic development has become a hot spot for people's increasing concern. At the Third Shanghai Forum of Higher Education Forum held by Tongji University, more than 40 experts from universities and colleges all over the world discussed the challenges and opportunities of higher education in the financial crisis and sought solutions. In response to the problems exposed by higher education in the financial crisis, they conducted in-depth discussions and reflections, and sought solutions from various links such as government, universities and the society, and put forward their own opinions and suggestions.
