本文报道牛骨形态发生蛋白(bBMP)的提纯方法及其生物学活性试验结果。电泳证实提取物 bBMP 系分子量分布在44、24和15KD 三个区带的多肽成份。在小鼠大腿肌肉内植入5mgbBMP28天后局部产生板层骨结构,bBMP 可诱导宿主间充质细胞向软骨细胞分化,继而通过软骨内骨化形成新骨组织。
This article reports the purification of bBMP and its biological activity. Electrophoresis confirmed that the extract bBMP is a polypeptide component with molecular weight distribution in the bands of 44, 44 and 15 KD. Localization of lamellar bone structure occurs 5 days after implantation of 5 mg bBMP in mouse thigh muscle for 28 days, and bBMP induces differentiation of host mesenchymal cells to chondrocytes and subsequent formation of new bone tissue by endochondral ossification.
