Preface Since 1965, several computer models for calculating the conveying capacity and buffer storage capacity of coal mine belt conveyors and the computer models for mining applications in the United States have been developed. Most of them use Monte Carlo simulation technology. In essence, the belt load at each transfer point is randomly generated based on the probability distribution.
