1989年4月3日至6日,在广西桂林市召开了全国图书馆学期刊研讨会。会议由中国图书馆学会、广西图书馆学会、桂林市图书馆学会联合主持,共有22家期刊的代表参加会议。与会代表提出了“怎样才能办出刊物的特色”等十多个大家共同关心的问题,并就提高刊物质量、扩大发行量、分工协作等三个问题作了较深入的探讨。代表们一致赞同成立《中国图
From April 3 to April 6, 1989, a national seminar on library science was held in Guilin, Guangxi. The conference was co-chaired by China Library Association, Guangxi Library Association and Guilin Library Association. A total of 22 periodicals attended the conference. The delegates put forward more than a dozen issues of common concern such as “How can we handle the characteristics of a publication?” And made in-depth discussions on the three issues of improving the quality of publications, expanding circulation, and coordinating the division of labor. The delegates unanimously agreed to set up the “China Figure.”
