颜真卿(即颜鲁公)的大名,自唐以来彪炳史册,历代士人几乎无人不知、无不受他的影响。我有幸出生于知识分子家庭,幼时看到长辈珍藏的各种碑帖,其中就有不少颜鲁公的遗墨。后通过他的碑帖,尤其是在老年,更感到颜体的厚重内涵、雄浑特色、深远渊源和历史地位之可贵。我系皖人,曾在冀鲁平原坚持抗日游击战争,在山东陵县工作时,只见过当时来往经过的神头镇有个很大的土堆,据说是西汉名士东方朔的墓塚。前些年为修史志故地重游,不仅发现陵县的神头镇就是古厌次县,正是东方朔的故里,且唐代的平原郡治也在陵县县城,正是颜真卿任平原太守,后书《东方先生画赞》和兴兵讨逆之地,曾经演出过轰轰烈烈的悲壮史剧。我有幸看到1985年修建的陵县人民公园中央的《文博苑》、《颜公祠》和《颜碑亭》,欣赏了颜公手迹《东方朔先生画赞碑》和《东方先生墓碑》。这一真迹距今已有1200余年;1667年即康熙六年地震埋入土中;到1792年即乾隆五十年挖出,修亭保护;建国后被国家文物局定为一级保护文物,诚为稀世之宝。

I was fortunate enough to see the “Wen Bo Yuan”, “Yan Gong Ci” and “Yan Beiting Pavilion” in the middle of Lingxian People’s Park built in 1985 and admired Yan Gong’s handwriting “Mr. Dong Shuo Shuo Praise of Praise” and “Oriental Tombstone”.
