歌剧《苏武》是作曲家林戈尔和编剧谭凯在i994年创作的作品,时隔19年,终于搬上了首都的舞台,并取得演出成功。这19年的时间恰好与历史上苏武滞留塞外的岁月相仿。如此大跨度的时间内都未能上演,可见这个题材的难度之大。8月20日,笔者也和很多观众一样,带着略有些怀疑的心理,走进北京保利剧院,观看中国歌剧舞剧院在首演之后的两个月,为此剧所做的第二轮演出。这也是文化部2013年国家艺术院团演出季的组成部分。入场之前,北京下起了雨,正与我的心态相仿。然而看完这部歌剧之后,就不得不感慨
