根据英国著名的朗曼出版社的《朗曼应用语言学词典》所 给的定义,双语教学指能在学校里使用第二语言或外语进行各 门学科的教学。 具体包括以下几种形式: 学校使用一种不是学生在家使用的语言进行教学。这种模式称之为浸入型双语教学。学生刚进入学校时使用本族语,然 后逐渐使用第二语言进行部分学科的教学,其他学科仍使用母语教学,这种模式称之为保持型双语教学。 学生刚进入学校以后部分或全部使用母语,然后逐步转变为只使用第二语言进行教学,这种模式称这为过渡型双语教学。
According to the definition of “Longman Dictionary of Applied Linguistics” by the famous Longman Press in the United Kingdom, bilingual teaching refers to teaching in various subjects at a school using a second language or a foreign language. Specific forms include the following: The school uses a language that is not used by the students at home to teach. This model is called immersion bilingual education. Students first use native language when entering school, and then gradually use a second language for teaching some subjects, other subjects still use mother tongue teaching, this model is called retentive bilingual teaching. Students first or later entered the school to use some or all of their mother tongue, and then gradually changed to using only the second language for teaching, this model is called transitional bilingual teaching.
