The process of casting the killed steel on the slag layer formed by the heating agent is being applied to Masteel. The plant that specializes in producing such heat-generating agents is now in production. The composition of the heating agent is as follows: 17% aluminum powder (90% Al); 20% manganese oxide (46% MnO 2, 7% SiO 2); 20% fluorite (93% CaF 2) and 23% Block (70% SiO 2, 28% alkali metal oxide).
