The relationship between vasopressin release, thirst and plasma osmolality (blood osmolality) in 6 normal subjects and in diabetic patients without history of thirsty drinking and drinking was studied. All subjects were intravenously dripped 5% NaCl solution at 0.06ml / kg body weight per minute for 2 hours. Plasma glucose, And thirsty degree. The results showed that intravenous infusion of 5% NaCl significantly increased blood-3 levels, increased plasma vasopressin level and increased thirst. However, the increase of plasma vasopressin level in diabetic group was significantly lower than that in normal group, and the difference between the two groups was not obvious. Diabetes patients without history of thirsty drinking history increased significantly thirsty diabetes than those with history of thirsty drinking history and normal people, the difference was not obvious after the two groups. Description of diabetic patients with reduced vasopressin reserves, no history of thirsty drinking history of patients there thirst decline.
