雷维模,四川省广安市武胜县人,毕业于四川音乐学院扬琴专业。先后当过小学、中学教师,专业文艺团体演奏员兼文化教员。现任四川省文化馆理论信息部主任、研究馆员。系中国音乐家协会会员、中国社会音乐研究会理事、四川省音协理事、四川省社会音乐研究会副会长兼秘书长。一个从乡间小路走向音乐殿堂的作曲家。初中时在校刊上发表第一首歌,20世纪70年代中期在《四川音乐》上公开发表作
