我国是农业大国,农民养老是我国现代化进程中不可回避、必须解决的问题。我国农村人口达8亿多,新型农村社会养老保险制度的建设,关系到农民目前和将来的生活安全以及生活质量的提高,关系到我国全面小康社会目标的实现。推进新型农村社会养老保险制度建设,是我国新农村建设中一个需要放在重要地位的基本任务。
Our country is a big agricultural country. Peasants’ support for the aged is an unavoidable problem that must be solved in the process of our country’s modernization. The population of rural areas in our country amounts to more than 800 million. The construction of the new-type rural social endowment insurance system is related to the present and future peasants’ life safety and the improvement of the quality of life, which have an impact on the goal of building an overall well-to-do society in our country. Promoting the construction of the new rural social endowment insurance system is a basic task that needs to be placed on an important position in the construction of new countryside in our country.
