Objective: To investigate the relationship between the incidence of plasma neuropeptide and the incidence of acute cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Methods: Radioimmunoassay was used to detect plasma neuropeptide levels in 109 patients on the 1st, 3rd, 7th and 14th day after the onset of illness, respectively, and compared with the control group. Results: (1) The levels of plasma p-EP, NPY and NT in acute cardiac and cerebrovascular diseases were significantly increased. (2) When the onset of plasma neuropeptide levels highest, reduced after 3 days, until the first 14 days close to normal. Conclusion: Plasma neuropeptides are directly involved in the pathophysiological process of acute cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. They are closely related to the pathogenesis and prognosis of acute cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. It is of great significance to master the regularity of their observation and treatment of diseases.
