在报纸上如何反映人民群众的要求,促进有关方面解决好人们普遍关心的一些实际问题?我们从在市报上开展《怎样解决买煤难?》的讨论,促使买煤难问题迅速得到解决的实践中,深深体会到:小讨论可以解决大问题。邯郸市居民大都使用蜂窝煤烧火做饭,蜂窝煤由市第一商业局燃料公司所属的十几个煤厂生产和供应。今年春夏之际,市场上出现了居民买煤难的严重问题。(据燃料公司统计,今年1——4月份蜂窝煤销售量,比去年同期减少了两千五百多吨。)许多居民从凌晨排队直到晚上还买不上煤,群众意见纷纷。不少读者来信来访,要求党报为群众呼吁。我们考虑,从党中央到市委都一再强调要关心群众生活,买煤难就是群众普遍关心的一个问题。于是,从5月21日开始,我们在报纸上开辟了题为《大家讨论:怎样解决买煤难?》专栏,加编者按提出:“希望来稿多提建设性的意见,献计
