第十四届电动车辆会议于1997年12月15-17日在美国佛罗里达州奥兰多市举办。出席这次会议的代表达1400多人(美洲占61％,欧洲占20％,亚太地区占19％),会上发表论文226篇(美洲107篇,欧洲70篇,亚太地区49篇)。参加展览的单位114个(美洲83个,欧洲10个,亚太地区21个),有30辆电动车给代表们试乘。到会采访的新闻媒体人员超过130人,我国组团参加的有:国家科委、中国电动车辆研究会、国防科工委和清华大学等,共约30人与会。国家科委张智文向各国代表介绍了我国电动汽车的发展情况。
The 14th Electric Vehicle Conference was held December 15-17, 1997 in Orlando, Florida. More than 1,400 delegates attended the conference (61% in the Americas, 20% in Europe and 19% in Asia Pacific). There were 226 papers published (107 in the Americas, 70 in Europe and 49 in the Asia Pacific region). A total of 114 units participated in the exhibition (83 in the Americas, 10 in Europe and 21 in the Asia Pacific region). 30 electric vehicles were given a test ride by delegates. More than 130 news and media personnel will be interviewed. About 30 delegations from China attended the conference, including the State Science and Technology Commission, China Electric Vehicle Research Association, the National Defense Commission of Science and Technology and Tsinghua University. Zhang Zhiwen, State Science and Technology Commission, briefed delegates on the development of China’s electric vehicles.
