Crane Lake new home is located in Long Rui, Longgang District, Shenzhen Street, is the cultural relics protection units in Guangdong Province. Built in the last years of Qianlong Hakka mansion, with a total construction area of 15264 square meters, with a total land area of 24816 square meters, is known to the country’s existing largest Hakka houses. Different from the well-known image of Fujian Hakka Earth Building, Crane Lake New Residential uses the irregular quadrangular layout of the octagonal building, which is not only uncommon in China’s traditional architecture. Even in Shenzhen, Hakka architecture, is also an isolated case. To trace the reasons for this special practice, we must explore from the special development of Shenzhen Hakka and the fortune-telling history of the landlord Luo family.
