文物保护工作是南水北调工程建设的重要组成部分,河南省作为全国历代文化遗迹极为集中的核心地带,文物保护工作十分艰巨。阐述了南水北调工程文物保护工作应该坚持的原则,以及文物保护工作的重要意义。强调在文物保护和南水北调工程建设的关系上,坚持文物保护工作先行,又不影响南水北调工程建设工期的原则。
The protection of cultural relics is an important part of the construction of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project. As the core area where cultural relics of all nationalities in the country are extremely concentrated, Henan’s archeology conservation work is arduous. Expounds the principles that should be adhered to in the protection of cultural relics in the South-to-North Water Diversion Project and the significance of the protection of cultural relics. Emphasizing that in the relationship between the protection of cultural relics and the construction of the South-North Water Diversion Project, the principle of preserving cultural relics should be adhered to first and the construction period of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project will not be affected.
