虽然95式5．8mm枪族已成为国产新一代武器的成功之作,但是以79式轻型冲锋枪为首的老一代武器依然活跃在公安战线。现在有不少民营企业都相继为79式轻冲等产品研制开发了与世界轻武器发展潮流相接轨的战术附件,如战术导轨、战术灯、垂直小握把等。根据来自基层公安干警的反馈,运用了战术附件的79式轻冲有时比95式步枪更适于做战术动作,尤其是前者快瞄快反的首发命中率更高。警用武器比军用制式武器更加注重人机工效和战术灵活性,可见,在研制新武器的同时,最大限度地挖掘老式武器的潜能,依然是一件不容忽视的大事。图为西安特警春节期间反恐演练的一幕,右前方的特警手持的就是加装多种战术附件的79式轻型冲锋枪。
