From September 26, 2014 to October 3, 2014, Beijing International Design Week 2014 with the theme of “Design Capital, Smart City and Ecological Civilization” started a weeklong event in the autumn of Beijing. The design week by the opening, design awards, smart city, main guest city and other main activities. Among them, the “World Cultural Heritage Protection Rehabilitation Design Project of Grand Canal of China”, the project of Beijing Dongfang Hutong Creative Factory and other projects are nominated for “2014 Beijing International Design Week” and “Classic Design Award”. During the 2014 Beijing International Design Week, the Design Week Organizing Committee has integrated the creative design parks, such as Dongcheng, Xicheng, Chaoyang, Haidian, Shijingshan etc.
