森林,是绿色的摇篮;绿色,是生命的象征。尽管目下绿色的树木尚未跻身于高档、豪华商品的行列,但它们为人类的生存与发展提供了最基本的条件,的确不愧为无价之宝。多少世纪以来,人类为了生存,便肆无忌惮地向森林伸手,加速了森林的毁灭进程,造成世界性的生态恶化。有鉴于此,如何激发并弘扬全社会的护林意识,已是改善人类未来前景的当务之急了。提及护林意识,有这样一个近乎奇迹的历史故事。第二次世界大战时,德国围困列宁格勒达数月之久,其间交通中止,面包奇缺,土豆鲜有,尤其是燃料的极度匮乏更给城内居民的生活带来巨大的威胁。在毫无办法的情况下,居民们首先把家中的木制家具劈了当柴烧,家具烧完后,千家万户宁肯把家中的藏书当燃
The forest is the cradle of green; the green is the symbol of life.
