尽管有各种医疗手段帮助医生作出诊断,但不动手术却很难确定病情。有人估计,每5例阑尾切除手术中,有1例是无需动手术的。最近医学研究方面的进展或许能让医生更加方便可靠地诊断出病人的病情。
Although there are various medical measures to help doctors make a diagnosis, it is difficult to determine the condition without surgery. It has been estimated that one out of five appendectomy cases requires no surgery. Recent advances in medical research may allow doctors to more easily and reliably diagnose a patient’s condition.
