The maritime satellite F shore station under the investment of the Ministry of Communications and under the auspices of the China Communications and Communications Center was officially opened and provided services in Beijing on October 16. This move marks China’s entry into the advanced ranks in the field of international mobile satellite communications. F Shore Station is the latest generation of mobile digital multimedia maritime information inaugurated by International Mobile Satellite Organization (Inmarsat)
