我国虽然早期在铁结构方面有卓越的成就,但由于2000多年的封建制度的束缚,科学不发达,因此,长期停留于铁制建筑物的水平。直到19世纪末,我国才开始采用现代化钢结构。新中国成立后,钢结构的应用有了很大的发展,不论在数量上或质量上都远远超过了过去。在设计、制造和安装等技术方面都达到了较高的水平,掌握了各种复杂建筑物的设计和施工技术,在全国各地已经建造了许多规模巨大而且结构复杂的钢结构厂房、大跨度钢结构民用建筑及铁路桥梁等,文章通过对钢结构的简单叙述,介绍了对其施工的技术以及具体措施。
