对马沛生等编著的《石油化工基础数据手册续篇》[1]（简称“马编”）,从全局上看未能博采百家之长,对国内基础理论研究中的重大成就注意不够,造成相当多的估算数据精度过低难以适用于科研、设计、生产,特别是用于科研,已经受到严正批评等事实,对工程科技界影响很大。因此亟应予以分析评论。对“马编”中有关基团贡献法的阐述,指出其不足之处,提出前人还没有提出过的基团贡献法发展的新方向——结构参数法。

The paper expounds the shortcomings of the method of group contribution in “The Horse Series”, and puts forward the new direction of the development of the group contribution method, which is not proposed by the predecessors - the structural parameter method.
