肿瘤相关巨噬细胞(tumor associated macrophage,TAM)占实体肿瘤质量的50%左右,是肿瘤微环境的重要组成部分,能够促进肿瘤生长、刺激血管生成和抑制免疫反应等。将TAM作为治疗靶点,实现纳米载体在瘤内合理分布以及有效抑制肿瘤的目的,是新型纳米载体的研究方向。本文简述TAM在传递纳米载体方面的优势,列举药物靶向TAM治疗肿瘤的应用实例,阐明巨噬细胞介导的药物传递方式以及靶向TAM的治疗策略是未来治疗肿瘤的一个新方向。
Tumor associated macrophage (TAM) accounts for about 50% of the mass of solid tumors and is an important part of tumor microenvironment, which can promote tumor growth, stimulate angiogenesis and suppress immune response. TAM as a therapeutic target, to achieve a reasonable distribution of nano-carriers in the tumor and the purpose of effectively inhibiting the tumor, is a new type of nano-carrier research. This article outlines the advantages of TAM in delivery of nanocarriers, cites examples of drug-targeted TAM in the treatment of tumors, clarifies that macrophage-mediated drug delivery and therapeutic strategies targeting TAM are a new direction for the future treatment of tumors.
