The Symposium on Deepening the Reform of Circulation System and Revitalizing Shanghai Business jointly sponsored by the Institute of Finance, Trade and Materials Economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics was held on November 24, 1988 at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. The delegates focused on how to deepen the reform of the commercial system and re-understand the tasks, functions and rejuvenations of state-owned large and medium-sized commercial enterprises in the management of the economic environment
