High-quality thin-walled stainless steel tube can be drawn with a short head. The continuity of the deformation process (unlike the intermittent rolling with ХПТ and ХПТР rolling mills) gives the cold drawn tube a high degree of precision. The main factor in the success of short head drawn stainless steel pipe is the quality of process lubricants and extubation tools. Mandrel extubation, the hardness of the tool has a significant impact on contact stress. When the working surface hardness of the tool is increased, it is found that there is a certain increase in unit friction force and a large increase in unit normal pressure, resulting in a decrease in the friction coefficient.
