利用乙炔焊炬拆卸轴承将会使轴的金属表面回火,用锤子和凿子拆卸可能引起轴的表面产生刻痕和擦伤。而一种被称为油注射方法的新技术可以消除轴表面的损坏,并加快轴承的安装和拆卸速度。这种方法将油注射到轴与轴承内环表面之间,使轴承内环膨胀与轴产生间隙,这样,轴承很容易在轴上滑动。这种油注射方法适用于与轴过盈配合联结的元件。如齿轮、联轴器、齿杆、皮带轮以及船舶的螺旋桨、铁轨轮子等。
Using an acetylene torch to disassemble a bearing will cause tempering of the metal surface of the shaft. Removal with a hammer and a chisel may cause nicks and galling on the surface of the shaft. A new technique, known as oil injection, eliminates shaft damage and speeds up the installation and removal of bearings. This method injects oil between the shaft and the bearing inner ring surface causing the bearing inner ring to expand and create a gap with the shaft so that the bearing can easily slide on the shaft. This oil injection method is suitable for use with an interference fit shaft coupling element. Such as gears, couplings, rack bar, pulley and the ship’s propeller, railroad wheels and so on.
