语言作为人类文明的产物,一直是人类最重要的传播工具。但是,从传播学角度对语言传播作系统研究还只是新近的事情,对中国来说更是如此。显然,这绝不意味着人类语言传播的功能不甚发达,或前人一点没有认识到语言传播的种种规律,而是因为它“尤如空气一般,太普遍而未能引起人们对它格外之关注”罢了。 在中国学术史上对语言传播的认识有两种情况:一种是学者式的,系统或不系统,基本上都是从哲学、语言修辞学、文学,而不是从传播学的角度出发的。如孔子、庄子就是从哲学的角度来谈语言传播的。对此,今人已作了不少研究;另一种是非学者式的,是作为语言这个传播工具的最广泛的使用者——人民大众通过亲身的体验
As a product of human civilization, language has always been the most important communication tool of mankind. However, a systematic study of language communication from the perspective of communication is only a recent matter, even more so for China. Obviously, this in no way means that the function of human language communication is underdeveloped, or that the ancients did not recognize the laws governing the spread of language at all, but because it is “as airy as it is too generalized to cause it to be very special Concerned ”nothing more. There are two situations in Chinese academic history about the spread of language: one is scholarly, systematically or not, basically all from philosophy, rhetoric of language, literature, not from the perspective of communication. Such as Confucius, Zhuangzi is from a philosophical point of view of language communication. In this regard, many people have done a lot of research; the other is non-scholar, as the most widely used language as a communication tool - the people through personal experience
