温泉是出露地表的地下热水,临川温泉的出露明显地受断层破碎带的控制,温泉为中低温水热系统。大量资料表明,地球物理方法是地下热水勘探不可缺少的手段之一,为了进一步扩大临川温泉资源的开发利用,在临川温泉区开展了地球物理勘探(磁法、氡气测量、地噪声观测、电测深)工作。通过各种物探工作,阐述了温泉与地球物理场的内在联系,圈定了控制热水的断层破碎带。根据综合物探方法推断成果,钻探出了地下热水。
