In early May 2003, when SARS was raging in the world, the Dragon Lion, a large-scale acrobatic show jointly performed by Chengdu Military Region’s Warbird Acrobatic Troupe and Canada’s Cirque du Soleil, returned to its birth four years after its tour. Ground - Montreal, Canada. However, unlike the past, it is not the flowers and applause that greet them, but the doubts and challenges. Canada is the worst “SARS” epidemic in Asia except Asia, especially in Toronto where the largest number of Chinese are gathered. Due to the influence of “SARS”, the Chinese community has been somewhat neglected. Although no “SARS” epidemic has yet occurred in Montreal, many local television stations and newspapers have watched the performance of “Dragon-lion” with uneasy feelings.
