新闻摄影是报纸不可缺少的一翼。随着时代的发展,生活节奏的加快,读者更钟情于简洁、明了、生动的形象新闻。可以预料,那种按照“重文轻图”的思路办出的报纸,将越来越失去读者,失去市场。这个问题目前已经引起一些报人的重视,并提出了种种改进意见或措施,正在付诸实施。在这方面,创刊仅一年的人民日报华东版带了个好头,把加强新闻摄影工作作为报纸改革的突破口,并取得了显著的成绩。为了总结、推广其经验,1月13日至14日,中国新闻摄影学会与人民日报华东分社在上海召开了“人民日报《华东写真》新闻摄影研讨会”,与会同志听取了人民日报华东版新闻摄影改革的思路和强化与运用新闻摄影这一手段的实践经验,并
