中西文化的差异造成了翻译过程中的各种障碍,而修辞手法的应用使得忠实的翻译难上加难。隐喻是常见的修辞手法,饮食相关的语言表达中也广泛应用,而中西饮食文化的差异又导致了修辞过程中意象的不同,使得隐喻翻译更为困难。本文对饮食相关的隐喻进行研究,分析总结了饮食隐喻中的不对等现象,从而对饮食文化及与饮食相关的的翻译起到一定的指导作用。
The differences between Chinese and Western cultures have caused various obstacles in the process of translation, and the application of rhetorical devices makes faithful translation even more difficult. Metaphor is a common rhetorical device, diet-related language expression is also widely used, and the differences between Chinese and Western food culture in turn leads to the different images in the rhetorical process, making metaphor translation more difficult. This paper studies diet-related metaphors, analyzes and summarizes the unequal phenomena in dietary metaphors, and thus plays a guiding role in diet culture and diet-related translation.
