2001年,全国少工委办公室联合《中国少年报》、《中国少年报·都市版》、《中国儿童报》、《辅导员》杂志、《小干部》杂志等少先队报刊开展了“新世纪我能行”体验教育征文活动。广大少先队辅导员和少先队员积极参与,截止到2001年12月止,共收到各类征文近十万件。经全国组委会组织专家进行评审,共评选出辅导员获奖征文813篇,其中一等奖30篇,二等奖161篇,三等奖622篇;少先队员获奖征文4919
