Due to the increase in energy costs, European countries have increasingly stringent requirements for building energy conservation in recent years. The regulation of building insulation required by the Federal Republic of Germany in January 1984 requires that the glass windows have a K value of at least 3.1 watts per metre to 2 open when the new building and the old building are reconstructed. The K value of a single-layer glass window is generally 6.0 watts/meter~2•Kelvin, which does not meet the requirements for thermal insulation. Therefore, double-layer or even multi-layer hollow thermal insulating glass is commonly used in the Federal Republic of Germany. Three-layer hollow glass is undoubtedly a matter of its physical properties.
