美国著名的新马克思主义学者詹姆斯·奥康纳(James O’Connor)在1973年出版的《国家的财政危机》一书中,以战后美国资本主义的发展为研究对象,分析了当代资本主义的矛盾与发展趋势,提出在资本主义矛盾日益剧烈的背景下,国家的经济职能日益突出,但国家对经济的调节造成了新的问题:财政危机正成为当今资本主义国家经济危机的集中表现,它不仅破坏着经济自身的生产能力,还直接威胁到资本主义国家的政治合法性。本文探索了资本主义危机的新的理论阐释与传统马克思主义理论之间的差别,以及它对当代资本主义的批判提供的启示及其现实意义。
James O’Connor, the famous scholar of the new Marxism in the United States, published his book National Fiscal Crisis in 1973. Taking the development of postwar American capitalism as the object of study, this paper analyzes the contemporary capitalist Contradictions and development trends. It is pointed out that under the increasingly violent contradictions of capitalism, the economic functions of the state have become increasingly prominent. However, the state’s adjustment of the economy has created new problems. The financial crisis is becoming a concentrated manifestation of the economic crisis in today’s capitalist countries. Not only is it not only Destroy the economy’s own productive capacity and directly threaten the political legitimacy of the capitalist countries. This paper explores the differences between the new theoretical explanations of the crisis of capitalism and the traditional Marxist theory and its enlightenment and its practical significance for the critique of contemporary capitalism.
