From 1440 to 1441 AD, following the successive establishment of Qingyuan, Huining, Zhongcheng and Qingxing four townships, the DPR Korea dynasty established a new town named “Fifth Town” among the “six towns”. The town was set up immediately against the background of the sudden onset of the incident in 1436 and the incident of “Qingyuan Town being raided” at many places along the Yangtze River that have not yet been deployed such as “multi-temperature (Ping)” and so on. As a result, its establishment not only further perfected the layout of the Chiang Kai-shek administration in the south bank of the Tumen River by the Joseon Dynasty, but also inadvertently promoted the DPRK’s North-to-North policy to its maximum.
