英语是高中阶段外语教育的主要语种。在新课程标准的指导下,高中外语教学法完成了语法教学到任务型教学的巨大转变。教育理念的更新实现的教学法大的改变,但是英语教学在新课改背景下依然面临严峻挑战,词汇问题尤其凸显。传统的英语词汇教学方式就是一个又一个单独词汇的教学,将语境和词汇完全的分割开来,从而导致学生们在进行阅读的的时候,不能理解它在文中真正的含义。我们都知道,在英语高考当中,英语完形填空和英语阅读理解的比例是举足轻重的,而其的意图就是让学生在一定的语言环境当中对文章词汇进行揣摩、理解,从而掌握文章大意;因此在进行英语词汇教学的过程中,笔者希望通过对利用语境进行词汇教学的必要性及意义研究,帮助学生对词汇进行学习,从而提高学生的英语水平。
English is the main language of high school foreign language education. Under the guidance of the new curriculum standard, the high school foreign language teaching method has completed a great shift from grammar teaching to task-based teaching. However, the teaching of English is still facing severe challenges in the context of the new curriculum reform. The vocabulary problem is particularly conspicuous. The traditional way of teaching English vocabulary is to teach one word after another to completely separate the context from the vocabulary. As a result, students can not understand what it means in reading. We all know that in English college entrance examination, the proportion of English cloze and English reading comprehension is pivotal, and its intention is to allow students to grasp the article vocabulary in a certain language environment, understanding, and thus grasp the meaning of the article; therefore In the process of teaching English vocabulary, I hope that through the use of context teaching vocabulary necessary and meaning to help students learn vocabulary, thereby enhancing students’ English level.
