粘土岩是高放射性废物地质处置库的重要候选围岩之一,内蒙古巴音戈壁盆地塔木素地区是我国高放废物地质处置库粘土岩场址的重点筛选区域,粘土岩的物理力学特性是评价候选围岩场址的重要参数之一。通过试验对塔木素地区深部粘土岩的力学特性开展了研究,试验结果表明,与同类型粘土岩相比,该粘土岩具有较高抗压强度和抗拉强度、低变形以及脆性破坏的特性。针对其力学特性,本文从岩石的矿物组成、声波速度、微观形貌、密度和含水率等角度,结合试验数据探讨了该粘土岩的力学特性的产生机理。本研究可作为我国高放废物地质处置库围岩的筛选参考依据。
Clay rock is one of the important candidate rocks for geological disposal of high-level radioactive waste. The Tarim area of Bayingebi Basin in Inner Mongolia is the key screening area for the clay rock site of China’s high-level radioactive waste geological repository. The physical and mechanical properties of clay rock are Evaluation of candidate rock site one of the important parameters. Experimental study on the mechanical properties of deep clay rocks in the Tarim area shows that the clay rocks have higher compressive strength, tensile strength, low deformation and brittle failure than the same type of clay rocks . In view of its mechanical characteristics, this paper discusses the mechanism of the mechanical properties of the clay rock from the perspective of rock mineral composition, acoustic velocity, microstructure, density and moisture content, combined with experimental data. This study can be used as reference for selection of surrounding rock of China’s high-level radioactive waste disposal geological repository.
