王明斋同志是山东省青岛市郑家水文站的站长。他1966年参加水文工作,先后转战9个水文测站,每到一处,都以自己勤奋的工作、过硬的作风和优良的品行赢得当地群众的敬重和爱戴。今年1月10日,他不幸去世。之后,山东省水利厅党组作出了《关于在全省水利系统开展向优秀共产党员王明斋同志学习的决定》。本刊发表其事迹,旨在弘扬水文职工的好思想、好品德、好作风、好精神。
Comrade Wang Mingzai is stationmaster of Qingdao Zhengcheng Hydrographic Station in Qingdao, Shandong Province. He participated in hydrological work in 1966 and fought on nine hydrological stations successively. Everywhere, he earned the respect and love of the local people with his diligent work, excellent style and excellent moral character. January 10 this year, he unfortunately passed away. Later, the party committee of Shandong Provincial Department of Water Resources made a “Decision on Carrying Out Learning from Comrade Wang Mingzai, an Outstanding Communist Party Member in the Water Conservancy System of the Province.” The magazine published its stories, designed to carry forward the good ideas of hydrological workers, good character, good style, good spirit.
