开罗会议是世界反法西斯战争史上具有里程碑意义的国际会议,《开罗宣言》和《波茨坦公告》是对中国人民抗日战争的巨大支持和鼓舞,对维护中国领土主权具有重要意义,同时也是中日之间解决钓鱼岛问题的法律基础。在《开罗宣言》发表70周年纪念日到来之际,中国驻埃及大使宋爱国在宣言诞生地——开罗吉萨金字塔脚下的米纳豪斯饭店(Mina Palace Hotel)接受中国驻埃媒体联合采访时如是说。宋爱国说,《开罗宣言》及其后发表的《波茨坦公告》构成了二战期间盟国对日作战最重要的两份具有国际法效力
The Cairo Conference is a landmark international conference in the history of the world’s anti-fascist war. At the 70th Anniversary of the Cairo Declaration, Chinese Ambassador to Egypt Song Aiguo accepted the joint media interview with Chinese media in Egypt at the Mina Palace Hotel at the foot of the Giza pyramid in Cairo So to speak. SONG Aiguo said: The Cairo Declaration and the Potsdam Proclamation that came out later constitute the two most important articles of international law with which the allied countries are fighting Japan during the Second World War
