在新的历史时期,预备役部队建设面临着市场经济和未来局部战争两大挑战。我们只有勇敢地迎接挑战,逐步做到并牢牢把握“两个适应”原则,才能使预备役部队建设不断跃上新台阶。 预备役部队建设要适应社会主义市场经济的发展。在由计划经济体制向市场经济体制的转轨变型中,人们的思想观念、生活方式、人生追求正在发生重大变化,人们的择业意识、基本流向以及社会管理体制也在发生重大变化。这就要求预备役部队建设,首先必须适应社会主义市场经济形势,促进社会发展,为提高综合国力做贡献。同时要在发展社会主义市场经济过程中,摸索适应市场经济的新路
In the new historical period, the construction of reserve forces faces two major challenges: market economy and future local wars. Only by bravely meeting the challenges and gradually implementing and firmly grasping the principle of “two adaptations” can we continually leapfrog the construction of the reserve forces to a new level.
