在目前用于诊断白血病和淋巴瘤的大量试验中,只有少部分是真正需要的。髓过氧化酶染色以及氯乙酸酯酶和萘酚丁酸脂酶联合染色诊断白血病是唯一必需的细胞化学检查。图示白血病鉴别诊断的的步骤。试验的阳性或阴性反应都能得出一种诊断。该诊断本身又能进一步用下列试验分类。
Of the large number of tests currently used to diagnose leukemias and lymphomas, only a few are really needed. Myeloperoxidase staining and the combination of chloroacetate and naphtholbutyrate lipids for the diagnosis of leukemia are the only necessary cytochemical tests.
