A. INTRODUCTION The selection of the article: This article is selected from the American writer Eloise McGraw’s novel “The Moorchild” (The Moorchild). In western legends, gods often steal human children and replace them with strange, ugly and stupid immortal children. Such children are called “changeling”. The little girl Saaski is such a “tuner”. She didn’t know her life, but the people’s weird gaze in the village made her feel a bit different from other children. She likes to go to the wilderness away from the village, where other children do not dare to go, but she can always find a feeling of deja vu there. Little Sass lives in two worlds: one side is the plain life in the village and the children’s mockery; the other is the free wandering and bizarre strange feeling in the wild. Finally one day, Little Satchi knew his life experience. She realizes that she can never be with the children in the village
