1999年由TWI代表国际搅拌摩擦焊专利协会,在美国加利福尼亚成功举办第一届搅拌摩擦焊国际会议,此后,每两年一届分别在不同国家成功举办了九届搅拌摩擦焊国际会议。连续九届的搅拌摩擦焊国际会议为焊接专家学者、工程技术人员及工业用户提供了良好的学术与技术交流平台,有力地推动了搅拌摩擦焊的技术发展和工业化应用。
In 1999, TWI successfully held the first International Conference on Friction Stir Welding in the United States of America on behalf of International Patent Society for Friction Stir Welding. Since then, the 9th International Conference on Friction Stir Welding has been successfully held in different countries every two years. The 9th International Conference on Friction Stir Welding has provided a good academic and technical exchange platform for welding experts and scholars, engineers, technicians and industrial users, and has effectively promoted the technological development and industrial application of Friction Stir Welding.
