燕王朱棣以“靖难之役”夺取政权之后,便登基称帝,改国号永乐,称明成祖。继而又决定迁都北平,并改称北京。随即筹划大兴土木,营造宫室。与此同时,还命礼部、工部派人四处寻觅陵址。其间便出现了许多令人啼笑皆非的故事。
