2011年8月对广西大明山的蜻蜓物种资源进行了调查.结果表明广西大明山蜻蜓种类隶属2亚目11科46种,差翅亚目Anisoptera 4科27种,束翅亚目Zygoptera 7科19种.其中广西新纪录种8种(亚种).
