本文提出了一种采用光选通(gate)的矩阵开关,并验证了4×4实验性开关的开关功能。这种实验性开关由光纤型分束器(splitter)、改进的钛锆酸镧铅(PLZT)晶体的光选通阵列和光纤型组合器(combiner)组成。这种开关对于非归零(NRZ)的光信号传输具有400Mb/s的宽带宽。本文以光功率电平和光串话为根据,从理论上讨论了所能达到的最大矩阵的规模。
This paper presents a matrix gate switch using light and verifies the switching function of the 4 × 4 experimental switch. This experimental switch consists of an optical fiber splitter, an improved optical gated array of PLZT crystals and a fiber combiner. This switch has a broadband bandwidth of 400Mb / s for non-return-to-zero (NRZ) optical signal transmission. Based on the optical power level and optical crosstalk, this paper theoretically discusses the maximum matrix size that can be achieved.
