当世纪老人夏衍同志辞世的消息传出之后,墨炎同志即约我为《书城》写篇悼念文章,并为我拟好了一个题目,撰写我应夏公之请,为他写作长篇自传《懒寻旧梦录》帮助提供和核查资料的二三事。于是,在我的记忆的荧屏上也断断续续地映出了一些旧梦的迹影。我原在上海长期从事文化宣传工作,因为工作的需要,组织上曾安排我到宋庆龄主持的中国福利基金会(解放后改名中国福利会)工作了一年。上海解放后,我又被调回宣传文化工作岗位。我和束纫秋同志都是在1949年
After the news of the death of Comrade Xia Yan, the elder of the century, Comrade Mo Yan made an appointment for me to write a memorial article for Book City and prepared a title for me. At the invitation of Xia Gong, I wrote a biography for him “ Lazy dreams ”to help provide and verify information on the two or three things. So, on the screen of my memory also intermittently reflected some traces of the old dream. I was originally engaged in cultural propaganda work in Shanghai. Because of the need of work, I arranged for one year for the China Welfare Foundation organized by Soong Ching Ling (renamed China Welfare Association after liberation). After the liberation of Shanghai, I was transferred back to propaganda and cultural jobs. Both Comrade Shu and I are in 1949
