For a long time, the quality problems of crusting and sedimentation are widespread in our country’s paint products. This has brought inconvenience to construction applications and caused great waste. Since 1983, the Chemical Division of the Ministry of Chemical Industry has organized a collaborative group for coating additives, and has focused on conducting tests and promoting anti-sedimentation and anti-skinning agents. Practice has proved that this has resulted in significant improvements in coating and paint storage, and has been welcomed and praised by users. However, due to the absence of “precipitation” and “crusting” indicators in all levels of paint product standards, most companies still do not include “two doses” in their products, which promotes the application of new materials to the paint industry and improves product quality.
